Changes to Zoom licensing

Update your Zoom Client software by Nov. 1
Beginning November 1, 2021, Zoom users will be required to update their Zoom Client software to ensure it is no more than nine months behind the current version at any given time. You will be blocked from joining meetings if your software version is older than nine months.
To continue using Zoom, you must update your Zoom Client software by November 1, 2021.
New Features to Enhance Your Meetings
Zoom accounts at UD now have access to several exciting new enhancements. Knowing how to use these features will help you to better address the needs of your students or guests in your next Zoom session.
In addition, if you schedule Zoom meetings inside Google Calendar or Outlook for Mac, there are important changes and actions you may need to take.
New Zoom Cloud Recording Retention Schedule
On November 2, 2020, the University implemented new storage and retention requirements to curtail costs associated with the use of Zoom. This applies to recordings in Zoom cloud storage. It does not apply to recordings in My Media in Canvas or UD Capture Space, which is unlimited.
