Poll Everywhere is an online polling platform that is able to collect real-time responses from students using any computer or mobile device with internet access. It can be used in a variety of situations: remote participation, on-campus participation, or remote participation in on-campus classes. - Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor
Respondus LockDown Browser is a program students download and install on their own computers that is used when taking an online quiz, test, or exam in Canvas where the instructor has chosen to use it. It prevents new browser windows or tabs, navigating away from the test, etc. Respondus LockDown Browser also includes an optional feature called Respondus Monitor which records the student’s webcam during an assessment session. - Respondus 4.0
Respondus 4.0 is a desktop application that assists in the conversion of existing quizzes in specially formatted Word documents into a format suitable for a Canvas quiz. - Persusall in Canvas
The Perusall app allows students to help each other learn by collectively annotating readings in threads, responding to each other’s comments, and interacting. Comments are automatically graded and can be passed back to Canvas assignments. - Labster
Labster offers 160+ virtual labs that enable students to work through real-life case stories, interact with lab equipment, perform experiments, and learn with theory and quiz questions. Labster’s virtual lab simulations are immersive and engaging, allowing your students to experiment in real-world lab scenarios from their computer at their own pace. Virtual labs are available for Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Medicine, Physics and more. - DesignPLUS for Canvas
