I don’t use the projector. Why do my recordings have no audio?

If you don’t plan to use the projection system in the classroom to show a laptop or document camera but still want UD Capture to record the sound in the room (lecture, discussion, etc), you still need to activate the microphones in most classrooms.

Step 1: If the touch screen is dark, touch once to wake it up.

Step 2: Touch the screen to dismiss the Welcome message.

Step 3: Screen says “Select a Source.” The microphones are now active, you can stop here.
