Turn on auto updates in Settings
You can also turn on automatic updates in Settings in the Zoom software application. This setting is not available through the web browser interface. You must open the software on your machine and click the small gear image on the top right.
- In Settings, under General, select the checkbox next to “Automatically keep my Zoom up to date.”
- When a new version of Zoom is available, you will be prompted to update. (If you’re in a meeting, you will be prompted with the update immediately after the meeting ends.)
- You can also choose how frequently to receive updates – “Slow” or “Fast.” The “Slow” option, selected by default, provides less frequent updates and focuses on maximizing stability. The “Fast” option allows you to install the latest features and updates as soon as they become available.
