Using Media Gallery & My Media in Canvas

If you are using UD Capture for your course, you will see two new menu options in your Canvas course: My Media and Media Gallery.

Media gallery

A shared repository that is specific to the Canvas course allowing your students and anyone else who has access to your Canvas course, such as a teaching assistants, to upload videos and view any videos that are in the Media Gallery. You can add videos to the course Media Gallery from your My Media or by uploading new videos directly to the Media Gallery.

My Media

A private video repository that contains your private videos; no one but you can access your My Media content. Your My Media will always appear in all of your Canvas courses. Students have their own My Media that contains their private videos. Videos in My Media are populated from your UD Capture Space account.
